And when we want to think about the minutes, remember, we start at the top of the clock, that's zero minutes past the hour. And then we can count by fives all the way to where the minute hand is. So 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45. We're 45 minutes past the hour. So it's 7:45. Count by 2s. To create these hands, simply glue down the thumb, ring finger and pinky on each hand. Then write the counts by 2s on the palms of the hands and the counting numbers on the fingers. For these hands, write the counts by 5s on the palms and the counting numbers on the fingers. These may be stretching it a bit, but if you want to try You can count by fives by adding five to the previous count. If you start with a zero then each number will end in either 5 or 0. The numbers that you would count if you started with 0 and counted by fives would be: 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100.
