Just got my Bentley manual and am learning all sorts of cool trivia. To reset the indicator:-The car should be off-hold down the left instrument button (the trip odometer reset)-while holding the key, turn the ignition to position 1 (radio)-you will see a test menu-keep holding the button-after maybe 10 seconds, the word "reset" will appear-let go of the button and press again-THe indicator is Alternative Method to Reset BMW Brake Light. Insert the key into the ignition. Turn on the ignition, but do not start the engine. Press and hold the BC button until time and mileage appear on the instrument cluster center. Next, press and hold the ODO Reset button. A yellow triangle will show up first.

I recently had my oil changed at the dealer free at its one year oil change. I had already changed it once at 7500 miles. I plan on paying for one oil change between the free ones.
